Lillian May Bed and Breakfast is named after my Grandmother Lillian May, the wife of a Chief Clansman of the “Lumsden Clan”. This attractive immaculately maintained Victorian Villa built in the late 18th century with stunning views to the Highlands across the River Tay.
Recently refurbished to provide luxury accommodation with large en-suites, but maintaining the charm and warmth of its original character with high ceilings, large rooms and many original period features.
It is centrally situated for visiting many of Scotland’s famous attractions and its famous Championship Golf Courses including St. Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles. Visit the trees planted by Mary Queen of Scots, the many Castles, some being home to The Royal Family and spend a day at Scott of the Antarctic’s ship the RSS Discovery together with The Victoria & Albert Museum.
Your welcoming host is a member of the only Ladies Golf Club in St Andrews and as a member, regularly plays the famous St. Andrews Old Course, Kingsbarns and famous Scottish Championship courses as well as many less famous but equally challenging but picturesque courses. Golf for the golfer travelling alone can have a tee time and golfing partner arranged.
